Genesis 33:3

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Y'hshuwah.

A G-dly man faces his fear boldly and appropriately, regardless of the possibilities of the potential outcome. In the preceding verses, Jacob's encounter with G-d gave him the boldness he needed to face his biggest fear, as did their life with Messiah empower Peter and John.
